Who we are

The management team at PTFS Europe have a wealth of experience in delivering library management system and digital library systems.

Nick Dimant: Managing Director

Nick is a co-founder and Managing Director,  responsible for the promotion of services supporting the Evergreen and Koha library management systems and for the ArchivalWare digital library solution. He also assists with further consultancy, training and customer support.  He has many years experience at director level of all aspects of the support, sale and promotion of library management systems

Jonathan Field: Technical Director

Jonathan is a co-founder and Technical Director, responsible for the implementation and support of ArchivalWare, Evergreen and Koha.  He also assists with further consultancy, training and sales.  Jonathan has acquired a wide range of expertise in numerous operating systems, databases and other technical environments.  He has an excellent working knowledge of the standards and protocols used with libraries and information and is a key driver in the company’s technical strategy.

Ian Bays: Project Director

Ian is Project Director,  responsible for project management,  data conversion and digitisation.  He is an IT professional with over 30 years of experience of software development and software product management.  He has managed software product implementations for libraries for the last 15 years from pre-sales meetings, project planning meetings, server setup, data conversion through to technical support and consultancy.

Keith Shell: Business Development Manager

Keith is Business Development Manager, responsible for identifying and develop new business opportunities and for growing the user base for PTFS Europe’s products and services.  Keith has many years experience in selling library management systems and in customer account management in general.  He has also held senior management positions in various companies in the industry.

Colin Campbell: Chief Software Engineer

Colin is Chief Software Engineer, responsible for the design, implementation and support of software developed for specific customers or for the open source community in general.  He has considerable expertise in developing software for Evergreen and Koha as well as in the wider open source environment in.  He has a wealth of experience in the library sector.
