Department of Health & Social Care goes lives with RT:Request Tracker, hosted and supported by PTFS Europe.

As part of a major enhancement of its library service, the Department of Health & Social
Care has added the RT:Request Tracker, an open source, web-based system for managing
enquiries, to its Koha library management system. PTFS Europe carried out the
implementation and is providing the on-going hosting and support services.

RT:Request Tracker enquiry management system
Using Request Tracker internal teams can communicate with enquirers and team members
on the same enquiry ticket. Staff manage ticket replies via email or using the system’s full
web interface. Customised dashboards monitor performance and comprehensive reporting
provides for review and planning.

Nick Phipps, Sales Director at PTFS Europe said “We are delighted that the Department of
Health & Social Care has added Request Tracker to their Koha library management system.
Government departments continue to embrace open source systems as a way of getting the
best of modern technologies whilst at the same time achieving value for money in an open,
flexible environment.”
