Blackpool and The Fylde College
Eileen Norris, Learning Resources Manager at Blackpool and The Fylde College, said: “Koha offers us a cost-effective open source product. The user friendly interface provides a range of Web 2.0 and Library 2.0 facilities that will enrich the learning experience for our students. Enhanced functionality and integration with other College systems will also positively impact on our workflows and reporting abilities. She continues: “Rebus:list, integrated into our Moodle VLE, will encourage our students to engage with the wide range of good quality print and electronic resources available to them. It will also allow LRC staff to liaise more closely with academic staff on embedding those resources into their blended learning delivery, whilst streamlining the time consuming task of managing and maintaining reading lists.”

Keith Shell, Business Development Manager at PTFS Europe added: “We are delighted that the college has chosen the Koha library management system and we welcome them as new customers. Of particular note is the decision of the college to implement Rebus:list; the first further education college to do so.
