London, May 2020
PTFS Europe has been appointed to APUC’s new multi-supplier Framework Agreement for Library Management Systems (LMS) and Associated Services. PTFS Europe’s Koha LMS SaaS will be available to universities and colleges via the APUC framework which substantially reduces the time and effort involved in the full tendering and contracting process for Library Management Systems.
Koha LMS with EBSCO EDS
PTFS Europe’s APUC framework package offers Koha LMS integrated with EDS, EBSCO’s discovery service. The system is entirely web-based, providing staff and public users with access to the system through web browsers. The apps include acquisitions with EDI, circulation, cataloguing, serials, electronic resource management, business analytics (with dashboarding and graphical visualisation), and end-user Koha account services fully integrated with EBSCO EDS.
When APUC issued a tender for Library Management Systems and Associated Services, PTFS Europe was keen to tender. Through this process, APUC was satisfied that PTFS Europe demonstrated the necessary capabilities to deliver a library solution to its customers.
We are delighted to have been successful in this tender process. We are enthusiastic about the process for libraries to buy a new library management system being as straightforward as possible. This framework agreement will enable us to offer the Koha open source library system to Higher Education and Further Education customers, and we look forward to our first implementation through the framework and many more to follow.Nick Phipps, Director of Sales at PTFS Europe
