Swansea University has chosen Rebus:list – the new reading list management system recently released by PTFS Europe. Based on a comprehensive review of the current systems available, Rebus:list offers a significant advance in the effective management of the entire workflow involved in the delivery and presentation of reading lists.
With a focus on simple, clear and attractive design together with the application of underlying intelligence, Rebus:list offers libraries a real alternative when choosing a new reading list management system. It is designed to be able to connect to any library system on the market.
Mark Hughes, Head of Collections at Swansea University outlined their reasons for choosing Rebus:list “We strongly believe in innovation in our systems to provide the best possible student experience. Rebus:list to us offers a good, user friendly design, great flexibility in terms of integration with our other systems such as the VLE, and a very pleasing rate of development and enhancement. “
Nick Dimant, Managing Director at PTFS Europe said “It is fantastic to see the team at Swansea join our community of early implementers. Rebus:list has evolved rapidly and is getting a great reception from the libraries that have seen it. It can be deployed quickly and easily and also has a migration path from pre-existing systems.”
If you want to know more about Rebus:list please come to a seminar being held at Staffordshire University on 5th December 2012 – more details and a booking form can be found here
