University of Sunderland has chosen Rebus:list – the new reading list management system from PTFS Europe. Rebus:list offers a significant advance in cost effective management of the entire workflow involved in the delivery and presentation of reading lists. With an elegant user interface, a comprehensive web services API and a contemporary software architecture, Rebus:list delivers truly seamless integration with any library system, eDiscovery service and VLE. Rebus:list offers libraries a real alternative when choosing a new reading list management system.
Oliver Pritchard, Assistant Director, Student and Learning Support, University of Sunderland, outlined their reasons for choosing Rebus:list: “We are delighted to be able to implement Rebus:list which will bring significant benefit to the way our students find and use learning resources. The critical success factors for replacing our current solution were to support the teaching, learning and research strategies of the University, ensure flexible integration with existing resources and optimise library and academic workflows. I’m very pleased to say that Rebus:list meets all these requirements and we look forward to working with PTFS Europe to create a supportive framework for our users to enhance and optimise their learning experience”
Nick Phipps, Rebus:list Business Manager at PTFS Europe said: “We are thrilled that the University of Sunderland has chosen Rebus:list and joined our rapidly growing community of Rebus:list customers. This is an exciting project which takes full advantage of Rebus:list’s ability to seamlessly integrate learning resources within their VLE.”
