PTFS Europe has a mission to free libraries and librarians to do what they do best, enabling and helping library users. We specialise in providing open source technology solutions and work hard to be good community partners, sharing in shaping the open-source offerings in the library field.
PTFS Europe promotes and supports a range of products including the including the Koha library management system, the Aspen library engagement platform, Metabase Analytics, the Coral electronic resource management system, the FOLIO LSP and the Knowvation digital archive.
PTFS Europe is a small (19 staff), friendly, talented and ethical team of people who have always operated virtually. Therefore the post will involve working from home, though with frequent opportunities to meet colleagues and customers. You will need to be a self-starter, flexible and motivated.
The company continues to grow and, with a rapidly expanding customer base across the government, academic, public, health and special library sectors, we need to recruit to support and foster this growth. We are currently looking for a Software Engineer to join our team. We are a small and supportive team at the core of the PTFS Europe business. We work alongside all other teams within the company, particularly the infrastructure and support teams

This is a UK based full-time position that requires telecommuting and short daily team catchups. We meet in person as a whole company once a quarter and rotate the location of these meetings around the country, so you need to be happy to occasionally travel.
We’re an ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials company and as such you will be expected to adhere to any guidelines we give you regarding information security management.
£25,000-£30,000 per annum
